I can’t place down a nest (in singleplayer) because when I place it down it says “Nest destroyed due to having no health”.
Is this a singleplayer thing or a bug?

I think the problem with this is that, sometimes, there are those cheaters that attack packmates. Imagine they attack you and you can't buck them off.
