The Deinosuchus is a gigantic sized, alligatoroid apex carnivore found in Path of Titans by the mod team of Divine Beasts. Deinosuchus is a semi-aquatic creature and takes on a more ambush focused playstyle and sheer might and size to catch its prey and fight of competitors. It is currently the biggest modded apex in the game.
Appearance[]
Deinosuchus is a large carnivore in Path of Titans, with its gigantic proportions setting it aside from every other carnivore in the game. It has a huge, long and wide snout full of thick, conical teeth, with large armor-like scutes along its back giving it more protection. It has many senses, but its crepuscular sense allows it to become more active from dusk to dawn and are far more active/dangerous like modern day alligators today. Deinosuchus has a long, powerful tail that allows it to whack someone and can send them knocked back. With a powerful standard bite, bone snap and ability to grab targets up to Allosaurus and Lambeosaurus, no creature is safe near the water! Due to it being given a 20% upside and it's based on the 2nd largest specimen the Divine Beasts Deinosuchus is about 17 meters long which translated to roughly 55 feet long.
Deinosuchus is low to the ground and quite limited with its stamina Path of Titans, but has a surprisingly quick sprint for ambushing players.
Survival Tips[]
Deinosuchus is a semi-aquatic playable, and requires water to survive successfully. At its younger stage it'll grow in or around water to be most efficient. It's too slow on land, and burns stamina extremely fast but it is big enough to use its large size to bully its way through should it know what it is doing. Stamina recovery is slow but especially on land where you will need to sit or sleep as there are no other ways to regen your stamina as Deinosuchus except in water where it already regenerates stamina if floating still or slow swimming. So it is not advised to travel around on land very often unless in a group of terrestrials or another Deinosuchus to guard your back against the more nimble land creatures.
Focus on ambushing in almost every situation if you wish to attack your prey. Smaller targets such as Allo/Lambeo and under are grabbable, meaning your clamp and your ambush attacks are able to snatch them. This allows you to swim into deeper waters and death roll them! Or if you wish to save stamina you can let go of them right in the middle of the body of water and then kill them with ease.
