The Miragaia is a large terrestrial herbivore. Able to apply unique substances to its hide, its effectiveness in combat is not solely defined through dealing damage, but by applying many severe negative status effects on its opponents, ranging from venom to paralysis.
Description[]
Miragaia is a stegosaur, possessing a long neck and a back full of sharp plates that extend from its head to the tip of its tail. Similarly to Kentrosaurus, its thagomizer consists of its entire tail, and it was most likely used to deter predators.
Paleo Info[]
Miragaia (named after Miragaia, the parish in Portugal and geologic unit where its remains were found) is a long-necked stegosaurid dinosaur. Its fossils have been found in Upper Jurassic rocks in Portugal. Miragaia has the longest neck known for any stegosaurian, which included at least seventeen vertebrae. Miragaia belongs to the sub-family Dacentrurinae inside the family Stegosauridae.
Miragaia may not actually exist. It is currently considered synonymous with Dacentrurus armatus.

Trivia[]
- In 2024, before the release of Miragaia, it was discovered to be invalid and synonymous with Dacentrurus.
- This makes Miragaia the only playable to be rendered invalid before its release and the second playable in Path of Titans to be found invalid (The first being Latenivenatrix who was synonymized with Stenonychosaurus in 2021).
- Miragaia is the third stegosaurian featured in the game, after Kentrosaurus and Stegosaurus.
- Like Camptosaurus's Stripey skin and Lambeosaurus's Barred skin , Miragaia's default skin is one of the few skins that are based on zebras.
- Miragaia was the last officially confirmed herbivore to be released in Path of Titans.
