Survival Tips[]

Avoid Mosasaurus as much as possible, as you cannot outrun one and Mosasaurus is stronger than you when face tanking. If forced into a battle with one, tail riding it is the only way to survive the attack (if it is to the death). If there are no fish in the area, your best bet is to either ambush a Eurhinosaurus, persistence hunt a Kaiwhekea or tail ride other Sachicasaurus for food. Your easiest prey will be Ocepechelon or Archelon, as your grab and thrashing abilities allow you to quickly kill them if you're max stamina (as long as your stamina is max when you grab the Ocepechelon or Archelon, and you spam the thrash ability, the kill is guaranteed. Beware however, Archelon is very fast on land for a strict aquatic). If you encounter a KTO Deinosuchus, avoid its debuff that decreases your speed significantly. Try to bone break it yourself to force it into a face tanking fight, which it will lose. Against a DB Deinosuchus, tail ride it after bone breaking it. It is very strong, to the point that it can potentially face tank you, so do not risk a face tank with one. Against a "hibb" (often nicknamed POT's Healing Crab), which cannot deal damage to you directly, simply grab and thrash it to death. Anything else not mentioned is either easily face tanked to death, is not usually found in the ocean or is too fast to be chased.

Trivia[]

Before the Pounce/Grab Update, Sachicasaurus only had two head slots: Bite and Bone Snap.

Before the addition of Mosasaurus as a modded character, Sachicasaurus was the largest strict aquatic in the (modded) game that existed in real life. It is now the second largest in the category.

Sachicasaurus now is often dubbed "unviable" due to it being almost always outspeeded, outstammed and overpowered by its modern ocean competitors.

Sachicasaurus players are now often found in pairs, perhaps to counter Mosasaurus' superior stats in a 1-1.
